These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tabu API, dashboard, and website (collectively, the "Services") provided by Tabu ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
To access the Services, you must create an account through our dashboard. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You may not share your API keys with third parties or use them in a manner that exceeds the usage limits of your subscription plan.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Services to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you are in violation of these Terms.
Each subscription plan includes a specific monthly image classification allowance. If you exceed your plan's limit, additional classifications will be billed at the overage rate specified in your plan, or requests may be throttled until the next billing cycle.
We reserve the right to impose rate limits to ensure fair use and maintain service quality for all users. Current rate limits are documented in our API documentation.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable, except as required by law. You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date payment information.
We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' prior notice. Continued use of the Services after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Images submitted to the API are processed in-memory for classification purposes only. We do not store original images on our servers after processing. We retain classification metadata (scores, timestamps, and safe/unsafe determinations) to provide analytics and compliance reporting features.

We strive to provide high availability for the Services but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Services are provided on a "best-effort" basis. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance, which may result in temporary service interruptions.
We are not liable for any losses, damages, or costs resulting from service downtime or interruptions.
The Services, including all software, documentation, and design, are owned by Tabu and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Services. By submitting content for classification, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Services.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tabu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tabu and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to Sections 9, 10, 11, and 13.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic and applicable European Union law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Slovak Republic.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
